Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient Oriental Art that dates back 5,000 years. Quite simply, it is based upon our own natural innate ability to heal/harmonise ourselves, restoring equilibrium, relieving and releasing the cause of acute and chronic conditions. It involves the application of our hands to harmonise the flow of energy through the body.

Through Jin Shin Jyutsu, our awareness is awakened to the fact that all that is needed for harmony and balance physically, mentally, emotionally, digestively and spiritually, is within us. JSJ harmonises life energy by releasing blockages in the body.

There are 26 energy locks on each side of the body. There they develop their own vibration and have an important function within the complicated interconnection of mind, body and consciousness. While connecting these energy locks with our hands, we activate the energy flow and therefore induce harmony in the body.

The easiest way to bring the energy flow into motion is to hold each finger individually with the opposite hand, because almost all energy channels move through the fingers and therefore can be harmonised.

The Japanese Master, Jiro Murai, researched and studied this ancient Art at the beginning of the twentieth century and then revived and introduced it back into society.

One of his students, Mary Burmeister, introduced this wisdom into the United States and her students then spread this knowledge all over the world. This deep wisdom is innate in everyone’s inner self and accessible through treatments, experience and practice.
